The unique new stadium of Botev Plovdiv could host League Europa semifinals

The unique for Bulgaria new stadium Hristo Botev was presented today at a specially held press-conference in the Club campus and currently stadium for official games in Komatevo. The directors July Popov and Angel Paliyski and the architect Georgi Savov showed the new vision of the stadium, which construction already started few months ago. The club decided to change the vision, due to the higher targets for the club. This stadium could host semifinals from the European club tournaments, such as League Europa and UEFA Champions League.

The capacity of the stadium is 18 777 spectators. 1500 of them would be for the visitors. Most of the changes affect the western - main stand of the stadium for the VIP, official guests and journalists. The stadium will be suited for the highest standards for media coverage. 

The construction of the stadium will take at least a year and should be ready for May 2015, said Angel Paliyski. We want to show our best as hosts of the European U-17 championship, added the administrative director of Botev Plovdiv.
