Botev Plovdiv stays among the top 4 in the Bulgarian championship, with a important win in Sofia over Slavia. The Canaries defeated the white team 2-1 with goals by Romario Kortzorg and Vander Vieria.

The victory didn't come easy, since Slavia get the lead in the first half, with a goal by former Botev player Atanas Kurdov in the 19th minute. In the 31st minute Abel Anicet scored an equalizer with a header from 5 meters from the goal. 

In the 61st minute Vander Vieira received a great pass by Galchev and 1 on 1 against Slavia's keeper Petkov gave Botev the lead. In the next minutes Botev could score even more goals, but great opportunities were missed by Cvetkov, Romario and Ognyanov - who returned at play after few minutes off the field due to injury.

In the next round Botev faces CSKA in a direct battle for the third place. The game is thus Thursday at the "Hristo Botev" stadium.
