Botev steals important point in Razgrad 28-09-2013 22:29

Botev Plovdiv finished 0-0 in a visit to Bulgaria's champion Ludogorets in Razgrad. The Canaries could even be sorry for the draw. Few good chances to score were missed from Abel Anicet, who was closest to scoring in the middle of the first half, but was stopped by the Ludogorets' second goalkeeper Cvorovich, who substituted the starter Stoyanov, who suffered an injury in the 18th minute. The Canaries played well in the defense also, and Ludogorets, who just recently defeated Dutch's PSV Eindhoven 2-0 at their ground in League Europe, threatened the perfect today Adam Stachowyak just 3-4 times, but the Polish goalkeeper denied their tries.

The Canaries are second in the championship with 21 points, just 4 behind the leaders Ludogorets. Right behind Botev is Litex Lovech, who has one game to play at Sunday. In the next round Botev will play at home against outsiders Neftochimic.
