Brave 1-1 at home against Stuttgart

Botev Plovdiv couldn't manage to defeat Stuttgart at home ground in Bulgaria finishing 1-1 in front of full stadium in Burgas. The two teams played a tactical first 45 minutes without a lot of clear goal opportunities. Youngster Todor Nedelev was close to scoring with his weaker right foot, but Ulrich saved his dangerous shot.

Valeri Domovchiyski kept Botev Plovdiv's hopes to go in the next round in Europa League, scoring in the 70th minute, after Ibishevich already gave the lead to the visitors with a header 7 minutes earlier. The Bulgarian scorer was in the right place, to net a deflected ball from the Stuttgart's goalkeeper. Until the end, The Canaries had another 2 very good chances to score, but Anicet and Sprokel missed their good opportunities.
