Botev Plovdiv almost lost their chances to fight for the Europa League places trough the Championship after an unlucky 0-2 defeat from CSKA in Sofia. The Canaries played as equals against CSKA, but conceded one goal in the 50th minute after a mistake in the defense, with Kosoko scoring from close distance. Botev had few chances to equalize, the best of which was in the last minutes of the game - first shot from Benga was stopped from Apostol Popov 2 meters from the goal-line, then Hamza hit the post and after that Dore found the ball at a great position behind the goalkeeper after a cross, but stayed centimiters under it and couldn't score at the empty goal. Just minute later in the end of the game Stoyanov scored second goal for the final 2-0 for CSKA.
